I have been a personal trainer for 8 years and can’t imagine being a part of any other industry than the health industry. I started out working for larger corporate gyms before opening THE FIRM in 2014. The knowledge I gained from working at those larger gyms was invaluable but my dream and passion was always to have my own gym and run it in a way that put the members first. My style of training involves a large amount of strength training as well as a good portion of conditioning to help burn fat as efficiently as possible. My goal as a trainer is to help my clients perform at a higher level on a daily basis through whatever tasks that day has in store. Fitness for me is not a fad that can be picked up for a few months then dropped; it’s a lifestyle change that requires dedication to see real lasting results. I love to push people outside of their comfort zones to show them their true abilities and capabilities.
As much as I love training and fitness I very much have a life outside of the gym. In my spare time I try to get outside as much as possible, whether that’s on the lake, hiking, camping, or just lounging on a patio with a cold drink and good company. Traveling is another big hobby of mine and the Mountains are usually my go to regardless of the season. I have two four legged companions Cash and Willie who are always ready for a new adventure, so they often tag along for my recreational activities.
One of the best perks of my job is getting to meet new people and form relationships with them throughout their fitness journey. So just know when you come to Bodies Health and Fitness you’re joining a family, and that family is here to motivate and encourage you as well as take a genuine interest in your life outside the gym.
